Well I keep reading that people didn’t trust the covid vaccine because it was developed in a few months.
They don’t understand it had taken DECADES of work to enable its development. It was a HUGE HUGE blessing that they were able to have that work adapted for covid in a few months.
YES! I am so tired of policymakers telling us that there’s “nothing they can do” about our health system’s failures when I and other healthcare professionals are literally screaming policy suggestions that would change lives. 🗣️
Why does this administration want its population weak and sick from diseases that have had preventative measures in place since the 1950s?
Why does this administration want women’s health to be placed in a moral context when the biology of reproduction is anything but moral. Why are we withholding healthcare from half our population?
Why does this administration think those of us who have devoted our adult lives to researching, treating and curing disease are motivated by something nefarious like greed?
Why does this administration want its population spending all its nonworking time fighting against morbidity and mortality?
Remember when we didn’t know about germs? Remember a time when we didn’t know about DNA and genetic predispositions? Remember a time when quack science was rebutted by rigorous research sponsored by the government whose job is looking out for “the general welfare?” Now is the time when BELIEFS about illness and treatments trump proven science knowledge? I heard RFK’s unproven theories many years ago. I examined them and found them to be false and dangerous when my son was a baby. Thank God I chose to vaccinate him.
And we have 2 death makers in our Health departments : Rfkjr & Mehmet Oz
What a disaster to the USA- science will disappear. Just hope you do not get another pandemic in the next couple of years

Science is NOT like a magic wand. It takes years.

Exactly!
